In southern Tanzania, on the northwest side of Selous game reserve, lie two small, quite offbeat national parks: Mikumi National Park and Udzungwa Mountain National Park. Mikumi is easily accessible by road, it supports a large number of elephants, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, impala, waterbuck, reedbuck, warthog, yellow baboon, lion, hyena, antelope, and many species.
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi
Depart at 7:30 a.m after breakfast from Dar es Salaam via Morogoro and Chalinze with picnic lunch packs. Continue with game drive here at Mikumi we will come across lions, elands, hartebeest, buffalos, wildebeest, giraffe, zebras, elephants, wild dogs, and many species of birds. Drive for overnight at Bastian camp lodge. Meal plan and full board.
Day 2: Mikumi National Park
Morning breakfast then proceeding with full day game drive, viewing at Mikumi National Park you will see all species of animal and birds, Thanks to the savannah plains, animal at Mikumi is easily accessed. Due to its Savannah plain animal at Mikumi are easily accessed. Drive at Bastian camp lodge for a meal plan. Full board.
Day 3: Udizungwa and Sanje waterfall and back to Dar es Salaam
After early breakfast start safari to udzungwa 60km then trekking that leads to the spectacular trails up to Sanje water falls, one of the unique features of udzungwa. Here you will get a good view of kilombero valley which is ideal for agriculture.
Walk back to udzungwa town for hot lunch and start driving to dar es salaam hotel or lodge to end up our tour.
